In flash nonfiction stories, artists and designers reveal what it takes to deliver truths through art and writing. Together their voices provide intimate portrayals of the ancient wisdom: the heart recognizes what the mind cannot know.

In the 5th year retrospective (2015-2019), this collection of stories represents MassArt students from more than 10 countries, working and middle class backgrounds, rural and urban, as well as first generation college students. They are visual artists, writers, educators, scholars, and activists focused on learning to serve everyone interested in creative growth and the wellbeing of our human community.

Jeanette Luise Eberhardy is the curator of this show. The Advisory team includes past participants: Veronica Pedrosa Abdala, Leena Cho, Joshua Hernandez, and Alice Yingrong Shao.
